Lighting units

For the best possible illumination of the analyzed objects INSENSIV 

develops special lighting units. Mainly light-emitting diodes (LEDs) of different 

designs are used here, in special cases also tube flashbulbs.
 

According to application, LEDs of the whole optical wavelength range from 

UV to IR are used. A power range up to 1.5 kW can be covered.
 

A flawless illumination of the object is realised by suitable choice of the 

LEDs and an optimum spatial arrangement on the lighting board. Foreign 

light influence is minimized by suitable filter technology. 
 

If required, INSENSIV equips the lighting units also with an external interface 

and a microcontroller for the optimum control of the intensity, the time and 

the duration of the illumination.
 

The lighting boards are obstructed in a plastic or metal enclosure if requested. 

These can be made customised as a plug or screw implementation (up to 

protection class IP67).
