Height control and collision protection for UAVs 



Flying close to the ground with GPS is imprecise. The Copter Control System “CCS Assist” enables flying close to the ground for analysis purposes with an accuracy of less than 10cm. The automatic detection is done by 3D stereo optics. The system uses Intel® RealSense™ technology and transmits the information from a 3D point cloud directly to the flight control.

The CCS Assist software developed by insensiv is compatible with the Pixhawk hardware and the Copter software solutions PX4 and ArduPilot.

Copter Control System

Discover our drone control system, which allows you to fly your UAV above ground level with an accuracy of less than 10 cm in order to carry out various types of sensory analysis.

The measurement of the distance to the ground generates a reliable altitude value, which allows a low and constant flight without GPS. The camera detects objects at an angle of 90° at a distance of up to 10-15 meters in flight direction. Due to the automatic detection it is possible to avoid collisions and detect obstacles early.
